STATESVILLE, N.C. (Sept. 7, 2016) –Beginning Saturday, Oct. 1, Rescue Ranch will open its gates for visitors to experience the twists and turns of a lighted corn maze, sponsored by Randy Marion Chevrolet of Statesville.

A new fall activity for Rescue Ranch, the 9-acre corn maze boosts a barnyard design featuring one of the Ranch’s most popular ambassadors. It is located on part of the scenic property situated at 1424 Turnersburg Hwy, Statesville.

Through the month of October the lighted maze will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 6 to 10 p.m. for only $8 for guests aged thirteen and older and $5 for children aged two to twelve, children under two are free. The corn maze will also be an added element to the Rescue Ranch Fall Fun Days presented by WIX Filters event happening every Saturday in October from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..

“We’re excited to partner with Randy Marion Chevrolet of Statesville to add the corn maze to fall event line up,” said Krissie Newman, co-founder and president of the nonprofit organization. “This is a great way for guests to enjoy an active, family-friendly outing while learning about Rescue Ranch and our mission of humane education.”

All proceeds from the corn maze and Fall Fun Days benefit Rescue Ranch’s mission. The nonprofit animal welfare organization promotes respect for all animals through education; is committed to agricultural, environmental and wildlife conservation; and facilitates rehabilitation, rescue and responsible pet ownership in order to enhance the human-animal bond.
