RESCUE RANCH IS THE DESTINATION FOR FALL FUN DAYS PRESENTED BY PARKS CHEVROLET AT THE LAKE

STATESVILLE, N.C. (Sept. 17, 2015) –With fall right around the corner, Rescue Ranch’s Fall Fun Days presented by Parks Chevrolet at the Lake is the perfect opportunity to visit Rescue Ranch, enjoy the outdoors and celebrate the fall season throughout the month of October.

“We are grateful to Parks Chevrolet and our other sponsors for giving locals and area visitors a chance to experience what Rescue Ranch has to offer,” said Krissie Newman, co-founder and president of the nonprofit organization. “Fall is a great time to be outdoors and create memories with your family.”

Each Saturday in October from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Statesville, North Carolina-based nonprofit, families can enjoy hay rides, animal presentations, arts and crafts, a straw maze, hay art, sponsor and vendor booths, games and more for only a $5 donation.

Rescue Ranch also encourages individuals, businesses and students to get in the fall spirit by submitting a creative scarecrow design in its scarecrow contest. Designs are due Friday, Sept. 25 and will remain on display throughout October activities. A winner will be selected from the individual, group/business and classroom categories on Saturday, Oct. 31 and receive an ice cream party with a Rescue Ranch critter. For rules, contact events@rescueranch.com.

“Fall Fun Days is all about enjoying this remarkable season, but we also want guests to learn about Rescue Ranch and begin to understand our mission of humane education, conservation and animal rehabilitation,” said Newman.

The nonprofit animal welfare organization promotes respect for all animals through education; is committed to agricultural, environmental and wildlife conservation; and facilitates rehabilitation, rescue and responsible pet ownership in order to enhance the human-animal bond. During Fall Fun Days presented by Parks Chevrolet at the Lake, guests also will have the opportunity to see Rescue Ranch’s outdoor animals.
